When Oats is packed in a Jar, then we pack it using a compression mechanism so that all the air is driven out of the Jar and only White Oats is present inside the Jar.

When we pack Oats in a pouch then we are not able to use a compression mechanism instead we drive out all the air manually. That is why when you pour the contents of the 500 gms pouch into our 500 gms Jar, some contents will be left over in the pouch.

We are planning to Nitrogen flush our pouches in future

You can be rest assured that both the 500 gms Jar and Pouch have 500 gms of White Oats in it.

Subject: clarification on weight

Dear Consumer Care Manager,

I bought Bagrrys white oats Jar (Weight 500gms printed) with Batch.No. WO 2/12 & Pkd.date 12 Feb 2012 roughly three months ago.

Again, I bought Bagrrys white oats refill packet (Weight 500gms printed) with Batch.No. WO 6/11 & Pkd.date 11 June 2012.

There were excess oats left When I refilled jar with the packet. Is it means net weight of Oats in the Jar is less than 500gm?

Why there are less quantity of Oats in 500gm-Jar than that of 500gm-Packet?

Please clarify.

regards,
Rizwan Mohammed
