SAIL has announced the “SAIL HR Award for Excellence 2009” for Indian Manufacturing Industries. The award has been instituted in collaboration with IIM(A) as its Knowledge and Process Partner.
These awards have been instituted by SAIL for recognizing and encouraging the organizations in Manufacturing sector that have actively been in business at least for the past 5 years in India and demonstrate excellence in People Management Processes. Awards will be given to the winners and runners up organization in 3 categories based on manpower strength of the organisation - Large, Medium and Small scale industries.
The award will be judged by a panel of jury members drawn from eminent personalities drawn from industry as well as academicians. Dr. V. Krishnamurthy, presently Chairman, National Manufacturing Competitiveness Council will be the Chairman of the jury for deciding the awards.
These awards will provide a platform to share innovative and proven HR practices/systems across the manufacturing industry and thereby enriching and spurring further innovations in the field of People Management Process. It would also provide HR professionals an opportunity to benchmark their HR strategies, initiatives and achievements in the current competitive scenario.
Companies which wish to highlight any outstanding work done by them in People Management Process should apply for this prestigious award.
