I got appointment with him at 10, Janpath on a special day. I wish to share my little experience of meeting him on that day. There were around 40-50 people apart from me waiting outside the gate. The gate which allows appointees to go inside was just beside AICC Head Quarters in New Delhi. Our appointment was at 9.30 am. It got late for 30 minutes and we all waited till 10 O'clock. At 10.05 am, the SPG security people came to call the names of appointees and send them one by one. They called my name and went through barricades into the venue. No electronic items, Gifts and Flowers are not allowed inside. They were two security gates to pass through before the security check up. We all made to sit on the chairs at venue, just beside the main entrance of the house. At 10.30 am, Mr. Rahul Gandhi came with his Personal Secretary: Mr. Kanisha Singh and SPG security. Rahul interacted with each group of people one by one and later met the individuals. I went to meet with him to request to grant me a platform to fight against corruption and poverty. I believed that Indian Youth Congress is ideal platform for the purpose. I asked Mr. Rahul to join his party; he asked me "What you do in party?" I sincerely replied him "I wish fight against corruption and poverty". That's true. He introduced me to his PS and advised him to explain the procedure to join the IYC. His PS, Mr. Kanishka Singh told me that you need to join 500 members with you in the party and then there are elections to choose the leader. The more members to join in party, the more chances YOU will win. What's the key to become a leader is - The stronger will win the elections. No political party in India nurtures youth who come forward to fight the cause sincerely. No political party has vacancy for the youth who do not have political, financial strength and/or support of people from same caste/religion.
Hi! Friends
You need to understand that we need leaders who'd take the nation forward not their political parties.
Join me to fight against corruption and poverty.
